PM Addressbook

I'd like to have some sort of quick address book when sending a PM. Preferably, I would want it to be like IPB where all your buddies are in a dropdown so you can select to send to them instead of typing in the name.

A lot of people have strange names which are hard to remember, so having this would be a quick to send PM's to people on your buddy list.

Can anyone code this? I can't imagine it would take to long.

I, the entire staff and users are spoilt by the PM features offered by another board. The addressbook is one, a confirmation that the PM is sent to user A, B and C another, it just says: sent.

Are there any possibilities?

You are aware of the buddy list and PM to buddies feature already in vBulletin I take it?

If not look in Quick Links > Open Buddy List. When you have added folk to your buddy list they show up in there.

Thank you very much, that's a nice tip. Also great to see that it's basically there: may make it easier to modify it a bit.

This is very helpful, especially when you start sending a PM. But we like to have such a thing at hand in the PM screen: think about replying a PM and adding a few other people to it (not all nicks are as easy to recall as John). An reply to all function would be neat too.
