Hello,
All day Ive been trying to change the $spacer_open & $spacer_close tags on the template FORUMHOME and replace them with my own custom variables. I edited the header and footer templates using the Style Manager, changing the $spacer_open and $spacer_close to $mainp_open and $mainp_close which are my two custom page templates with the exact same code as $spacer_open and $spacer_close except for two class attributes which were originally set to page, then changed to mpage for the two new custom styles. I also made sure I created the new mpage style correctly in Addtional Styles in the Style Manager. The page does not show at all with my new modifications, why would this happen? It seems like I copied everything correctly and went through all the hoops to make this work. ...The odd things in vBulletin. :ermm: Thanks, -Neverrain |

actually i don't really get what you are trying to do.
but have you tried to edit the spacer_open and close templates and just use if conditions in them? that way is much easier, than creating new templates, especially if you just need it for one page.. |

Or, you could just hard code it into the forumhome.
