Co-operating DB signup
Couldn't find the hack, i'm sure there would be one already for this, so apologies for asking.
Basically, I'm setting up a site and I'd like users to be able to register for everything in one go. The DB would store users details so they could post on the forum aswell as do some other features (email through a PHP form/review things) Does this hack already exist or is it impossible/too hard? Thanks for this anyone who reads it |

what are you looking to intergrate it with? Anything specific are you really asking if there is a way for a registered vb forum user to email through a php form and submit reviews / articles and such.
There are two hacks, one for articles and one for sending forms and such I believe that make use of the vb backend. |

Hi, thanks for the reply
I'm not really looking to intergrate the VBB backend with these features, I'm more looking for my signup form to integrate with the VBB register form. So when a user registers on my DB, it'll also create the same account on VBB (also login would help too, IE he doesn't have to login twice) Does that make sense? |

There is no simple modification to do this unfortunately. Every piece of software out there is developed in a different way with their own user login systems. To integrate each piece of software you'd have to have a custom solution. If it's not in our 'Integration with other software' category it doesn't mean it can't be done.
