This proves you should turn on persistant_connections (config.php). That's all it shows.

The fact that all your processes are in "sleep" means you are using 0 resources. Your host isn't too bright if he can't figure that out himself.

If anything you want to TURN OFF Persistant connections,

since your on a shared account it might be time to upgrade to vB3 as its much much less resource intensive.
