Copy post button?

Is there a hack that can be added that allows users to copy an entire post before they post it?

Probably for if there's errors (not logged in, etc) then the user can correct the error, paste their post, and repost it.


And the trick is: CTRL+A followed by CTRL+C


If it did it automatically, people would get mad that their clipboards were overwritten. I know I'd be mad.

Yes, but that's pressing 4 buttons. If there was a copy button right next to previerw post, then this would be a a good hack to have.

I don't think this would be all the tough to do. Look here at what I did on this page (non-vB). This button hightlights and copies it all in one.
Anyone up for the challenge of doing this hack?

That's just simple JavaScript, you could apply the same effect easily. Just look in your templates and start adding the relevant code.
