Signature only appears once per thread page for each user, a user option?

Just wondering if that's possible, so a user can select in their options either of the following in a pull down menu or something.

No signature/Show signature all the time/Show signature once per user in thread

Any way this can be done? It would be nice and handy. Thanks

Currently I haven't changed anything, I found a hack on here to show signatures once per thread, and I also found a simple postbit template edit over at vb.com which would do that, but I'd like it if users could choose either of the things I stated in my first post in their user options.

Im not going to totaly walk you though this, but, create a new profile field give it the options that you want, a yes / no in a single slect drop down.

now you add to the conditional

<if condition="$bbuserinfo[fieldX] == Yes"> put the sig code here, this will show only once per page <else /> put regulra sig code here </if>
