Is there an hack to put smile where is the cursor and not at the end of post?

He's asking if there is a way to make the smilie appear where the cursor is in the reply box instead of it appending it to the end of the post..

It should do this for vB2 and 3, at least 2.3.5 and 3.0.X

seems like it still appends to end of post in reply box on my forums.. i don't remember though since i use quick reply more than anything else.. unless i just want to quote a small part of a post..

don't know if browsers may have something to do with that or not.. i generally use Firefox for everything.. and occasionally, accidently engage the Microsoft Empire to browse..

You would need a WYSIWYG editor to do that iirc.

I try with mozzilla and IE and it's the same. In this forum works right.
