I've just upgraded my board from 2.x to 3.0.1. Everything went well, but I noticed there were a number of 2.x hacks that still appeared as admincp options, i.e. myvbindex, quiz etc.
What's the best method for removing these entries. Additionally as the 2.x hacks won't work with v3, then what are people doing with hacks that have altered the database? Are they running through the tables and removing what they know for sure relates to a 2.x hack and dropping them?
You can enable debug mode and remove the extra settings, i highly suggest you backup before you do anything to your live database.
Thx. for the quick reply. I've not used debug mode before (I know how to turn it on). Once I've turned it on, what do I need to do (just a brief outline)?
Go into the AdminCP > vBulletin Options, you will have the ability to see all the vBoptions, dont mess with anything besides the settings for the hacks. youll understand once your in there ;D
