-You're starting off with too many forums. Start small, then build up when you get more members.
-The style isn't too bad, it looks nice, but you could rid of some of the default images which don't fit that color scheme anymore.

You should get it down to about 12 forums, that would be a better number. Merge some forums, best way to bring down forum count.

1. Properly capitalize and use punctuation.
2. I have no idea what your site is about after staring at it for a bit. I also don't immediately see what "bay" you are talking about (San Francisco, Chesapeake...?).
