in each hack thread, they hack will be accompanyed with step-by-step instructions for method of installation, the instructions will be on the first page of the thread either as part of the initial post or in an attachment, if you have any problems, ask inside the thread for help and someone will get onto helping you asap.

Make sure you have access to your server's FTP so you can extract files that you need to modify, and upload them.

And make backups of files you modify - you can't ever be too safe.
