This used to be an active community. It seems dead lately. What's up?

Nobody knows how vB3 works whereas vB2 has been out for many years. That and many vB3 modifications do not require file modifications.

vBT is a graveyard, and although Tony seems to be active, from my visits i tend to get the general impression that Zack is the only one really doing owt over there, i mean Brad's more active over here and on .com than he is there, a good example of that ocmmunity being dead is here. Saying that though i do think Brad's the man for vBT, i just think he needs more support from Jelsoft and also some additional active staff in the mould of Zach.
vB.org is has been dead for months on the community front, however it's once again becoming a great resource, hack support is quite good, feedback is getting answered, and general hacking discussions and php help is quite good too, bar the fact that all the mods seem to have died a lonely deaf all of a sudden, the sites running quite well, unless you look in here (the lounge) and notice that theirs no general community spirit, no one really laughing, joking nor spending time with eachother ![]() vB.com has a different type of reg so will never reflect the goings on's of the sister sites. vB-G i aint got a clue what's going on over there since i can't read germany but i suspect it's doing just as well as .com |

Yeah, I know. I just got back into vb after about 8 months. I was so tired of trying to figure vb2 out. Now I'm working with vb3 and it's so easy that I would think there would be alot more activity now. I'm sorta discouraged that there's not. Hopefully it will pick up.

Why does vb.org have more registered users than vb.com has?

![]() either one of them will bring the community back or we'll hear something's changing from one of the admins and then everyone will take a look hoping somethings changed and you'll get alot more people posting. btw vB3 seems about 10times easier to write for than vB2 so i'm wondering what's taking em all so long as well ![]() |

![]() as for vb-g, it's not that active personally i'd say it's between vbt and vb.org, but regarding the fact, that there are way less germans than all nations in completeness, that's not really surprising ![]() |
