SQL query results shown in templates

Bascially i want to print all rows from a mysql table in a template, however only the last row in the table is shown when the page is loaded. Whats wrong with my code?

$historys = $DB_site->query("SELECT title, user, year, id FROM `history`");
  while ($history = $DB_site->fetch_array($historys))
  {
        $getbgrow = getrowcolor();
        eval('$historypart = "' . fetch_template('index_english_history_list') . '";');
  }

PHP Code:

eval('$historypart .= "' . fetch_template('index_english_history_list') . '";'); 


Note the .= which means append to the end of the variable.
