Shared User DB
I have 2 boards that I would like to share the same user DB. They both have access to the same DB server.
Is there a hack that I could not find (searched for: share user, shared user "share user", "shared user", share account) that would allow me to share the user DB? Thank you |

You purchased 2 licenses for VB, right? Orelse you cannot legally do this...
You can share 2 user databases, is the same way like you want to share another software (HiveMail, PhotoPost) with VB. I would recommend you to open a ticket at vb.com and let any of the support team post here letting us know you have 2 VB licenses. |

So...how do you integrate two vB's into one database?

Could you have both forums use the same database using different prefixes with perhaps a small mod that replaces the variables for 2nd_forum with those for 1st_forum?
(just thinking aloud here) |
