I have a lot of smilies on my board and a lot of them use the same characters in the text that is replaced by the image.
ie: ![]() imp:those are the results I get. The second smilie doesn't show up properly because it contains the text for another one that has a higher order. I tried to order the smilies by length but it didn't work. I'm assuming the code I added is wrong... Does anyone know how to fix or change this? I'm sure it's come up before but when I searched the forums I couldn't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Ah now I had this problem and in fact I think it should be classed as a bug. This happened to me in vB2 and if it happens in vB3 then I suggest you report it perhaps... This was really annoying particularly with the

I used the minor hack supplied in this thread: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...es+replacement
(minus the text formatting that slipped into the first code box) At first I thought it didn't work but at some point in the last few minutes it took effect and seems to be working just fine. I don't know if there's a better way to do it but so far this seems like the easiest and most logical way. |
