Resizing filesystem JPG attachments
I've just converted all of my attachments so that they exist in the file system, and I was wondering if there was an easy way to convert all of the image to more compressed JPGs. All of the uploads are JPGs and I've run tests on a few of them and I could reduce the sizes of most by about 1/3 with little quality loss by re-saving them with higher compression. The problem is that they are all named witout extentions and I can not read them into photoshop without manually adding extentions. Anyone have any suggestions. I've reduced the allowed file size, but I want to fix the exiting images.

I am. I'm talking about reducing the size of the full size images that the thumbnails link to. |
