Let members hide FORUMS (Not just a category)&remove hiden forums from view new posts

Im looking for a hack which allows users to remove forums they dont want to view, plus the forums they remove, to remove them from view new posts link.

I have seen a hack for removing a category and removing that from the view new posts link but I would like it for individual forums
