This is currently and IPB mod, but would be very nice to see it as a vB3 port

--allows users to upload files to your site or link files on an external server
--skin and language fully customizable
--permissions set by groups in the admin cp
--many management features allowing you full control over this script
--support for custom fields the admin can determine (can also set required or not, and whether to include in posts or not)
--script can auto-create a post for each submission
--comments system
--rating system
--search feature
--many, many more

Maybe a system that will allow moderators/admins have to be able to verify the upload before allowing it to be publically visible would be a great idea for such a hack.

Yes, I believe this hack has that option. I had it installed on an IPB board. I love this hack.

Anyone else like to see this for vB3 Gold? I'm surprised... It's such a great hack.

I would love to see this but I am currently going to be using a non-vB download program but would love it for vB so I can use the usergroups to determine who downloads what
