I did a couple of searches (and came up empty) for this before posting here so if it already exists somewhere, some one please just point me that way. That said what I need is a hack that allows the user to select a custom user group as his primary group upon registration. Since the secondary user group(s) do not allow you to remove privileges only to add them I want to offer the viewer a limited view (based on their interest) when s/he signup then if they want to see more then they can signup to a secondary user group..

As Always TIA for any help

Or is there some other way to do it?
