Need Ability to Increase the Minimum Coppa Age
Hi, I'd like to be able to use the Coppa age blocking feature to prevent any user under a specified age from being able to see or access certain site-wide features. More specifically, I'd like to increase the minimum age of access to control what things users under the age of 18 can actually see. Coppa seems the best way to do this because it grants the user access but quietly blocks what types of things they can see or do. Is there some EASY way to do this? I looked for a COPPA age configuration option but wasn't able to find it and when I asked over at the vBulletin site they said this required a code change.
This seems like it would be a fairly common request. So, my question is how HARD is it to make such a change? Thanks... |
