A new version of Vbulletin calls for a new community bulletin hack. The old one was a great way for people to keep members active and it should definetly be ported over.

Hey woodsracer.com ! Just clicked your link, nice changes over there.
The community mailer was a great hack on 2.X ! I'd send it out and within minutes watch the user online number go from an average of 150 online to 2-300 up to 412 at one point! Out of 35K members, I'd get maybe 3-4 per month asking to be "removed" , pretty impressive since some of my members have been registered since '99 . |

yes, without a doubt one of the biggest traffic generating mods I've installed. I can't believe nobody has ported it over to vb3 yet!
