Hack to Allow only specified usergroups to use HTML

Is it possible for somebody to develop a hack so that only certain user groups can post messages / have signatures that parse HTML?

I know its insecure to have HTML enabled on the board, but I personally prefer HTML and I'd like to have it available to the administrator and super moderator user groups.

Or if anybody could provide me with a road map on where I would get started, I'd be more than happy to do it myself.

Even if you trust your supermoderators, I would still very strongly discourage their use of HTML. Really not even you should use it because you could somehow accidently introduce a hole.

I would recommend instead fhat you simply reproduce the HTML that you are craving in the form of a more secure vB code tag.
