Invalid SQL: SELECT userid

mysql error number: 1064

i am having this erorr. and i am unable to change user groups now because of it. the last hack installed was the away user message by bira and now im having this erorr. i uninstalled the hack and am still having this problem. i am running vb 2.3.4.
please need help i am in desperate need

Upload an unhacked usergroup.php (And other files you may have edited for that hack)

i have done a lot of custom code to many of the files. and id hate to lose those.

Then just do it to usergroup.php and re-hack it.
