Depends on if any major bugs happen between now and then probably. RC 2 has lots of bug fixes that they probably want to get out of the way.

IMO this means it is further off, RC 1 was barley out two days and a big hole was discovered, no telling what is still lingering around the code (but that is expected).

A hole was found in the register/login pages so they had to release a patch the first day. From what I hear, RC2 is just the same thing with a bugfix or two and the patch.

..really its them just covering up for their major hole...

RC means releas candidate, so it means there shouldn't be any bugs anymore.
it's just a short testphase until it should be renamed to final.

So it's obvious why RC's are changing faster than Beta's

Let's hope there are no more sec holes in it

Yes, gold does. For all we know, RC2 might as well, but not likely.
