shoutcast display at forumhome

If you have winamp.. Shoutcast server.. and you want to display what
is playing at the radio then this hack comes handy.
It takes from Shoutcast server *.XML the info and displays it where you want it to..
or something like this..

hm i forgot to change the version nr when posting ...

it is made for 2.3.x

tho.. i think it may work on 3.0.0

[deemon]

hm.. and yes it does.. i tested it on Version 3.0.0 Gamma and on
Version 3.0.0 Release Candidate 1

Sounds interesting deemon. Can it be configured to get info from a remote shoutcast server?

[deemon]

yes.. it can as long as you got the admin login passwd

[zeedy2k]

does it have to be the admin pass? can it not be the dj pass?

This sounds nice. What is a shoutcast server exactly? Probably sounds stupid... But i'm interested lol.

[deemon]

heh you haveto own one

umm... live demo @ http://www.escalator.ee
and my radio is located @ http://radio.escalator.ee:8100
so.. you haveto set up the shoutcast server to use..

This is really cool man, I already had a very NICE shoutcast script on my website right here

http://www.mogusland.com/shoutcast.php

and i always wanted to get in the forums without a crappy IFRAME

My stream URL is right here broadcasting at 96kb/s for anyone interested in Gaming Music

http://mogusland.servemp3.com:8000

Just put that URL into ANY Mp3 MEDIA PLAYER

Can someone explain where I place this code in (vBulletin 3.0.1) please?

I cannot find a phpinclude template

Thanks.

In vB3 the template is phpinclude_start
