My vB leased license ran out on December 9th. I thought: no big deal. I'll convert to IPB.
IPB, while a very good free board, just didn't compare. I found myself longing for vB. Simple solution? I got a job. First paycheck, bought myself another license. Nice to be back here. |

but shouldnt lifetime mean..... lifetime? I think $160 should last a lifetime, not one year and then pay another $30 for renewal

$160 means you can use that version you have forever. To download newer versions or get support, you need to renew your access to the members area for $30 per year.
This is opposed to the leased license, which means you can only use vB for one year, not for life. |
