how do you go about getting it to resolve addresses above the forum directory?

sabret00the · #2 11-30-2003, 01:11 AM

and does it matter if i've used a chdir() in there?

Could you perhaps re-phrase the question? I've no idea what you asking to be honest.

thanks for reading it in the first place.

i've got a page in the
root/other/
directory, and my forums are in the
root/forums/
directory, but i've noticed that my online.php doesn't show anything outside of the forums directory as what i set it to show when i edit my online.php?

hope that made more sense.

I assume you have required global.php in all these php files?

PHP Code:

			require('./global.php');

IIRC vB2 didn't save the full path to files so if you had two with the same name you couldn't distingish between them.
