Forum permissions hack
Posting this over at dotcom, but think it may need to be a hack...
I've been pulling my hair out trying to work out this one. I want to set up a forum for Competitions that allow registered members only to access, but once viewing can only see threads and posts by administrators and themselves (not other members). This way I could post the comp details and the question and let members post their answer without being able to see others' answers. From what I can see in the Admin CP I'm able to set forum permissions so users can only see and reply to their own posts, but this means they are unable to view mine. Has anyone else done something like this and, if so, how? |

Thanks Faranth. I'd already posted here before your reply over there. I'll give that a go! Cheers
