VBulletin WebBased Email Addon/Hack!!!!!
On my site "paintballmessage.com" I will be having a basic (free) and a premium(6.00/month) membership. I want to give people in the premium category their own email (whattheywant@paintballmessage.com) and have the entire webbased email program inside my vbulletin template. So when they click check email. Have it automatically log them into their email account beacuse that email address was assigned to that user, see what im saying? So basically a web-based email client for vbulletin, so when someone subscribes, they can enter what they want their email to be and it automatically adds it to the pop server. It should READ via POP server, and send via SENDMAIL. It could have the ability to store messages in the database, and have a trashcan, sent items, inbox, and options where they can edit their signatures and such. It would also be nice if admins can set a disk space quota, and have an auto footer message added to each email that is sent.
It would also be neet if when you get a new email, it pops up a BOX, like it does when you get a new PM.
The user should be able to change their account name at any time.
So basically, the only way to get an email account is if you are a contributer, this could also be an option via admin panel, to allow all people to register, or only have it register when the person signs up to become a subscriber.
Any ideas, post them.. I think this is an awsome plan, and I would try to help the developers in any way I can!!!!
