Don't really know were to post this but here goes...

I just registered this account and I used the email adress that I put in the member's area. How come it still says I show up as unlicensed? Has this system a cool-down period or something like that?

Yes I picked up on this too Erwin - perhaps it updates the license database every night via cron?

nope, it's updated immediately when you submit the form.
during the vb3 upgrade i have run some tests, so i know that for sure
