i want to move my old forum to a new server and also want to polis the forum itself a bit...

id like to kill some forums and merge the threads with others... while i dont see a prob in moving a full board... i dunno how to "extract" a certain board eg that i only move that one over.
an sql file isnt really an option as the table customavatars contains binarydata (why would one do such a thing) and phpmyadmin freaks when trying to import it...

so basically we got board a, b, c,... z and i want to extract board c for example - and just board c.. .how is this possible and more important is this possible?

Just bring them all over and delete the forums you don't want once you get there.

as stated above this isnt an option, as i cant backup the full database and import it again (using phpmyadmin) because of the binary data which is altered in some way by phpmyadmin...

id like to extract certain boards ... there must be a way
