Where'd my attachment go?
I had a *very* important PM attachment. I don't suppose the old PM attachments are stored somewhere?

PM attachment, not post attachment. I was receiving it as well, not sending it.

I know, but I was suggesting that they might be connected.

Actually, I'm not sure whether PM attachments are a standard feature in vB3...this might be the problem. What I'm really hoping is that one of the wonderful administrators here will have a database backup or some other way of retrieving my file. It's very important. But thanks for your help Gary.

This is a very good point. I had some attachments in there which were important too.

The attachments are in the database. But PM attachments are not standard in vB3.

we'll write a hack to be able to post pm attachments again
but for old attachments: the pm system has been rewritten in vb3 and the old table has been dropped iirc, so we've no way of finding out which attachmentids were belonging to which pm's |
