Luckily I have Windows 98, so I'm not really effected by this. But hopefully this is for the better, and the next Windows version (Longhorn I think) has more security fixes.

I thought '98 was effected? Only ME wasnt??

It was? According to an email from my ISP, these were the systems effected:

Microsoft Windows® NT 4.0
Microsoft Windows® NT 4.0 Terminal Services Edition
Microsoft Windows® 2000
Microsoft Windows® XP
Microsoft Windows® Server 2003

I read somewhere every OS (windows) was effected except for ME. Maybe I dreamt it though :ermm:

its an NT thing i belive. windows NT runs abit differntly than the 9X systems do

and if your still using windows 98 i pitty you

I dont care if you guys think windows sucks, I will continue to use it as it does everything I need to do... linux doesnt handle all the programs I use.
