How do i do this ?

Can i just use a program like Beyond Compare and compare the file changes in my current files ( 2.2.9 ) with the files in 2.3.2 and do the neccessary changes ?

After which I run the following files in the 2.3.2 distribution :
http://your.site/forums/admin/upgrade23.php
http://your.site/forums/admin/upgrade24.php
http://your.site/forums/admin/upgrade25.php

?

Or do i have to do file comparisons and changes for each step , meaning :
from 2.2.9 to 2.3.0 and then 2.3.1 to 2.3.2 ?

Please help me out here , thanks

You just compare the files from the version you have (2.2.9) to the version you wish to upgrade to (2.3.2), then run the upgrade scripts.
