Thread Starter Colors
Is it possible to come up with a way to change the color of the thread starter to match their color when they are posting?
All my moderator's names are a different color. This shows up when they post. But I would like for their threads (that they started) to also show that same color in the Thread Starter column. I can't find any way to do that and I was told to try here to see if it can be done. Thanks! |

You could format the $thread[postedby] in the forumdisplay.php file, using the same code you use to format the username's in postbit

Wouldn't this change the color for every thread starter name? I want just the moderator names to be a different color. Would I need to change them on an individual basis?

Are all your moderators the same colour?

Yes... they all show as a different color when they post in the thread. But they are the same color as everyone else in the Thread Starter. I really want threads started by my mods to stand out.

You should be doing something similiar to this, except you modified $post[username] instead in the postbit. |
