Problem with Quote button · **Released**: 06-20-2003

I have search through my hacks and cannot figure out what happened or even when it happened but when I click the quote button it doesn't quote the post I am replying to.
At the bottom of the page in the status bar it shows correct info when I mouse over the quote button, I have uploaded an original newreply.php just incase I modified it and still no go. Anyone else know how this all goes together.

Did you modify the template? Try reverting it to default template - if this fixes it, it's the template that you need to fix.

If you are talking about the Postbit template I have already tried that too and no luck.

If your forum isn't that advanced; in regards to adding hacks and/or template modifications then I suggest you upload a fresh set of vB files and revert all templates to their original.

This will no doubt fix your problem.

I get an error message, this is what it says,

Parse error: parse error, expecting `T_STRING' or `T_VARIABLE' or `T_NUM_STRING' in /home/httpd/vhosts/*****.ca/httpdocs/forums/mainforums/newreply.php(47) : eval()'d code on line 1
