I just bought a CF wireless LAN card, now off to fix the access point to allow its MAC ID and my Pocket PC is online at home, school, and work

Sounds cool. The e740 rocks, mine support Bluetooth so I use my mobile-phone (which also supports Bluetooth) as a modem and connect via that (thankfully)
