Are hackers allowed to take donations for their time and hard work? I know there are a lot of little hacks here that I've used and would never have been able to do on my own. Even if it's just a few dollars for each, it would be nice to show our appreciation, and possibly encourage more quality hacks.

Exactly, if you want to donate a hacker, you have to contact him per pm/mail and ask him how to donate .
