Why was my signature taken down....

What written rule did it break, it links me to a thread that tells me im well within the guidelines for my sig.

Also many have noticed, my beta hack called: Zajako's RPG hack was taken down, because i was supposably advertising, where if that was the case, why was the whole thread removed, and not just the advertising. I was not charging for the beta hack released, hell, the hack im charging for does not even have the same name due to all the changes made. The hack had around 200 people using it as well. I feel im being wronged, when what im doing is right.

I have not done more, or less than other people in the past have done when it comes to any sort of advertising rules. I belive i have seen signatures advertising each others sites also. My signature image did not say i was selling anything, and the text under that, was one line saying what my site was. My signature looked like this:

i don't see where i broke any rules, and i feel im being treated un fairly, and also compared to the fact that i have been releasing quality hacks here for free forr the past year, i belive i am owed at least a little bit of respect...

if these things wronged are not righted within a week, i will never release something at this site again, Why share my hard work, when i get treated like ++++ for it.

I agree with you on this one Zejako. It is bull to do that when I see many more tag lines here that advertise more than that. If the rule is no advertising, then they should penalize EVERYBODY who does it. Even if they are just advertising their own website.

You release alot of great hacks and I will hate to see you go, but I will understand if you must leave.

If you leave, I would suggest that you demand that all your hacks be removed from this system.

I thinks it is a little ridiculous myself. I see other people advertising their sites here and I recall seeing somebody in the past advertising a site that has hacks for free. The onlly peoples hacks I have used and kept on my vB were Zajako3's and fireflys. All the rest have always caused a problem on my server. his hacks a good and I see no reason to remove his sig. Even if that somehow broke a rule I see no reason for removing his beta RPG hack. Kinda gay to do that to a member.

Your signature's image cannot exceed 300px in width. It also can't have promotional language.

Coincidently us mods are discussing a similar matter in private right now so stay tuned.

If the RPG hack is the one I'm thinking of then it was removed because it was Zend encrypted which is against the rules.

Your sig image is too big. The image and link itself is fine.

You beta hack was removed because it was a beta of a commercial hack. We removed filburt1's webmail beta hack. We removed the beta IM hack that turned out to be commercial. In the same way, we removed yours.

it is not encrypted in any sort.
It was removed due to advertising. thats what i was told in private messages.

Also i will fix my image, i did not notice the 300 px width rule, mainly because it does not make sence, my banner is the offical banner size, and as for promotional language, that is not in the signature rules.

I would have to agree that Zajakos sig isnt against the rules... i mean even you filburt have a link to your site and have an advertisement for a hack. Zaj didnt even go as far as you did with the advertising bid. You guys need to either lighten up, or you need to get rid of ALL the advertisements in sigs...

My signature does not advertise any hacks. It only lists all hacks that I've released.

The only time I suspend signatures myself is when the image dimensions are too large (which happens way too often...) or too many lines of text are used. I very rarely suspend a sig due to its content.
