I think he is talking about how the code boxes are stretching the layout of the thread beyond the browser's limits (causing the horizontal scrollbar on the bottom).

that is the normal behaviour of vB, and it's needed, because linebreaks in code's can cause errors...

A long time ago I extended the code on one of my vB sites to use an IFRAME for a code box, so that the scrollbar would appear within the post rather than stretching the entire page.
I wonder where that code went. It was pretty easy to do, though. Still, there's really no good solution. |

Just so happens I'm working on a way to fix that problem with [code] and [php] tags. Unfortunately it's involving that I rewrite all of the insanely horrible bbcodeparse2()
