I could not find it via a search here. Does it exist a hack that allows to use a little image (similar to the "Avatar" hack...) under the User name, actually under "Registered"? I don't mean an image available on the board server. I would like to have a line on the profile page where you can specify an image URL to use under your username and an autosize function for it.
Any?

jeah i know exactly what you mean.
I only know of the Avatar hack, but since what you describe is EXACTLY what i'm looking for, i'll wait and see if someone replies with a good hack.

This is similar to those ugly, disgusting, bandwidth sucking pictures that EZBoard uses, right?

I don't think it would be too hard to incorporate something like this - I'll give it a go this afternoon.

Do you want the user to specify the image for every post, or would you like it stored in the database as part of their profile?

There's no reason to put a maximum file size limit because the images are NOT hosted on the board server! You're just giving an external image URL, like Geocities, Xoom, Tripod or wherever the image is located BUT the board server.

No need here too. The hack will specificy the lxh dimension, or at least you, the admin.
