members can edit subject showed on threads list

I want to know how to give permission by members (usergroup) to edit the subject of the message showed in the showthread list?
I requiere hacking as well

I am looking for a way to do this too -- it seems to be the only option that I *can't* give users via permissions.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Stefan and Bastien. I got the jist of it before I wrote the message. I just wanted to make sure I was on the right track with the translation.

And Stefan, you could have translated it into german and I would not have understood that any better than i did the french version. And I took french in high school. Too many years ago, I guess.
