I was wondering if someone could make a hack where a user will get a certain amount of (lesane) store points on their birthday.

Of course, this hack needs to be protected. I don't want a user to keep changing his/her birthday every day in order to get the store points.

Maybe for protection, user can only be awarded with these points once a year. Once awarded points, they won't get another batch until a year later. If they change their birthday, they won't get their points until after a year later of the last date it was awarded but it will be then again rewarded on the specified new date.

Also, along the same lines I'd like to award store points for anniversaries of being on the board. As in year by year on the date they joined, they'll earn a certain amount of points

The problem with this is that users can keep changing their birthday everyday to get points everyday.

Or you could just make it so everybody gets it on Christmas or New Years or some holiday. I mean if they're only getting it once a year, why not make it one day and call it good?

It would be cool to have it based on B-Day's too though I guess. No idea how to code this though..

What would be even better is.. a hack that will allow you to imput dates or anniversaries you would like to award points towards

That probably would be very hard
