Hacked vb2.3.0 weird styles / database problem · **Released**: 04-24-2003

This one is a weird one for us.

Basically, having some weird problem with adding styles to vb 2.3.0.. here goes..

Styles:
-Default
-Style1

If I make a change to a color or anything in "style1" it also changes the same variable in the "default" style.

I dont thing. But it could be because of some hacks you have installed. What hacks yo got?

via Admin CP/style/modify/style name/properties section you point which template set that style uses. It seems that your both styles point to the same template set. Change one..

yeah i was trying to use the different styles with the same replacements and templates and guess that is it. Does this sound right? I thought you could use different styles with the same templates and replacements.

My problem here is I want to be able to just change the color for different pages but not the templates or replacements. I could need hundreds of these different color schemes but this will cause quite a bit of overload on the server if I also have to create a set of templates and replacements for each color change. Got any thoughts on how best to handle this?
