how does one tell if a vbulletin forum is not licensed or pirated?

Well, if you suspect anything just e-mail piracy@vbulletin.com and they will verify if it's a pirated or licensed forum. But some things people look out for are:

-New installations of old versions
-Missing copyrights (Just that most pirates remove them, and some others by mistake)

And so on...
