smilies w/ quick reply · **Released**: 04-19-2003

I've been working for about 20 minutes, trying to figure out how to integrate smilies into firefly's quick reply, here's what I've done.

First, I opened up the newreply template, which is under the "new posting templates" set. So that I could see how the template is being referenced and everything. Inside there I found this block of code:

So I copied the part that says $vbcode_smilies asuming this is what is used to call the smilies template to the page.

After that, I went to the showthread_replybox template, which is inside the custom templates category, and inserted a new column like so:

For some reason, this result is not being printed into threadview, where the quick reply is.

Does anybody have any idea on how I can fix this? or have any idea on how this can be accomplished? Thanks

Remember to add $clickysmilies to the showthread_replybox template where you want them to be displayed
