Parsing In URL's
Hiya, could someone help me with this, basically I want my vbulletin to parse urls like this,
http://www.yahoo.com*/hello.html etc... This way it will stop my board being the refferer. I tried other ways by editing th functions.php and the url comes out like this -http://www.yahoo.com/hello.html and it works in IE browser, but in opera, it doesnt and has http://myboardurl.com-http://www.yahoo.com/hello.html Could anyone help me with this?? Im guessing we will need a list of different endings like .com , .net, .tv etc Oh and it would be nice if when specifying my own boards url it will parse it without the * Thanks |

First of all, it's considered bad form to bump as aggressively as you do here. Help on these boards is a privilege, not a right.
To your question. Why don't you simply disable the function that parses the URL's? The users will have to edit the link they get anyways, so if you disable it, they will just have to copy and paste it into a new window. |

First of all sorry for bumping, didnt realise it was frowned upon...
Second of all I have at the moment unparsed my urls, but the members kept complaining that they had to load up a new IE and copy then pase the url... They prefer it they just have to click and edit, and to be honest I agree with them... Thanks for your support |
