Default What does your board do for the real world?
Every year my board tries to do something that matters in the world beyond the Internet. We have had 2 blood drives; we have raised about $20,000 towards breast cancer research by participating in a 3 day walk, and we have a Genome@Home team.

It is time for us to come up with something to do this year and I am looking for ideas. What do you all do to make a difference in the world around you?

We drink beer while operating fast boats and hunting for hot ladies with few (or no) clothes on.

No adult content is allowed on V-Driveboat.com though.

We provide a forum for people to let off steam (and cause there's possible a few swear words l don't know), so far we have been credited with numerous real world tension breakers

Plus we provide a repository for all those smilies wandering aimlessly around the net with no where to call home (think we are upto 225 or so of em).

Mine does, nothing But we're launching version 2 soon which I hope will bring about a lot of changes.

We are responsible for giving people a place to talk about stuff. And so far at least 10 relationships between forum members, and probably many more that I don't know about.

Can't say all of them have lasted mind you

So far we have donated £300 to charity, this money is generated by bannner advertisements. Basicly i use the banner money to pay for stuff the forum needs. Left over money goes to charity :-)

Not bad for a forum that started on January 10 this year ;-)
