Board Ranking Images by Post Count Hack · **Released**: 03-11-2003

This hack will provide all your users a board ranking image as their post count grows. For example on one my boards, they use a Kanji Belt System. When their post count grows they get new belts along the way, eventually leading to a Master Belt for those really dedicated users.

This hack is completly customizable from whatever images you want your users to use. You can even have unique Styles images based on what style the users wants to have, since the hack uses the { imagesfolder } tag.

I requested this hack a week or so back, but was too busy to do it myself, so HERE IT IS!

I hope you guys all enjoy it as much as i did making it.

P.s. I am sorry that i cannot supply the Kanji images for this hack since i did not make them, and the creator doesnt want me to hand them out. So i guess this opens up the posters of Vb.org to make their own Style Board Ranking Images and share them in this THREAD!

Here is a screenshot of the different Kanji Images in action (Kanji is a martial arts belt)

As you can see different belts by different post counts.

can't this be done by modyfing the user titles?
Where the user title name is just put

That is really boring. This hack lets you span images across multiple board styles. Thats why i said it uses the {imagesfolder } url. I got tired of having Ninja belts on my army board theme. Just makes sense.

there is a hack like this already...

it's called the multi race hack... it was writen ages ago but it still works very well... if you want me to find you a link to it then i will...

Oh well. I just wanted a rank system unique to the styles people were using. I checked and searched..nothing. No one would make it or even told me a substitute existed. So here it is.
