Is there a hack like this?

I looked around in alot of places but couldnt find anything like this. I run gaming site and i want the user to enter their favorite game in the registration form. And when they make a post on under there name it will say Favorite Game: Halo or whatever game they enter. Is there something like this that allows us to enter extra fields?

yes it is possible, and very easy.

1) in the admin cp go to User Profile Fields/Add and enter "Favorite Game:" or whatever

2) then after you hit Add go to User Profile Fields/Modify and hover your mouse over the edit button and remember the number at the end

3) go to your Postbit template and find $post[username] and somewhere after that add $post[field#] # is the number from earlier
