ONLY Super Mods and Admins can access private forums?
Hi there,
I don't know if this can be turned on by an option in vB (didn't see it) or if it has to be a hack but I want to change the private forums access so only Super Moderators and Admins can access it. Moderators and Registered users shouldn't be. I want to make a forum for my staff members which only they can access and I don't want to do it via user groups so I thought this would be the best option. WOuld be great if someone could help me. Cheers, Sebastian |

login to admin cp, under Forums & Moderators click Permissions, you will see a list of forums and options like this:
(COPPA) Users Awaiting Moderation [edit] Administrators [edit] Moderators [edit] Registered [edit] Super Moderators [edit] Unregistered / Not Logged In [edit] Users Awaiting Email Confirmation [edit] simply, click [edit] each of them and select yes to who can view and no to who can't view .. you must be sure you click on "Use Custom Settings" otherwise it will not save your settings... I attached an image. btw, nice name |
